BB Card

I was hoping to accurately depict my chosen BB card as closely as possible.

I decided rather than scanning the photo on the BB card, I would choose a similar photo off of the internet. Prof. O'Connell helped me choose the best available photo to match with my BB card. Scanning is something I've never done so I thought this was the best alternative.

I found the lines to be challenging, especially in InDesign. Quark made it much easier to create straighter lines. InDesign, the lines needed a constant fixing. It was a long a tedious process.

I solved the problem by remaining patient while going through the line process. It was tough, but I got it done.

I'm most proud that I found our I'm capable of re-creating a professional project. I kept dreading this project because I thought I would fail it, but I think I really created a strong project.

If I had more time, I would have tried to scan the photo to make it even closer to the real BB card.

Narrative

I was hoping to achieve a sound slide narrative that effectively told a story to my viewers. I could approach by using proper choice in pictures to tell my story.

The main decision I made was to do the narrative on WQRI.Being the Program Director, I felt that I could tell the best story to strengthen my project. I also made a song decision that felt more upbeat and provided more instrumentals. I then made the decision to eliminate as many lyrics as possible to provide and instrumental feel to the piece.

I actually did not encounter many problems. With the experience in the past sound slide project, I knew what I was doing. I also have a vast amount of experience with the Audacity program.

I am most proud of the fact that I made the music and the narrative blend beautifully with the pictures displayed. I made so while I was speaking, a picture would come up to match the narrative. It was a great and successful combination between them.

If I had more time, I would have added captions to go along with the pictures.
