Contact Sheet

The pictures I used revolved around my life. I used a picture of a recent Red Sox game I went to, a picture of my roomate's puppy, a picture of the Providence Water Fire, a Red Sox sign in my house, a picture of the view from my house, and a picture of another recent Red Sox game I attended.

All of these pictures help me get through the day because when I glance at them, it reminds me of recent happy memories.

My biggest challenge was the orientation, framing, and content sections of the sheet. I really was clueless.

I solved it because I asked another student who has used the program.

I'm proud that I finally got it finished and that the frustration ends.

I felt that this assignment was very aggravating because I am new to the Photoshop program. I also felt that I had to figure out some of these items on my own, which is never a good thing if I am new to a program.

Overall, I needed more guidance.

Font Poem

"Living is having ups and downs and sharing them with friends."

I was hoping to achieve a font poem that was not only expressive and meaningful, but was readable for my audience.

I made the decision on the different fonts to make them as legible, yet as creative, as possible. I styled the fonts in different angles to make the font poem jump out at my audience.

The one problem I encountered was changing the background color of my font poem. I solved this problem by asking one of my fellow students for assistance.

I am most proud of the fact that I completed my first project in this class. I didn't know what to expect from this class but I feel as if I created a strong piece.

If I had more time, I would have changed a couple of colors of my fonts because it may have been more colorful.
